About Me

Hello. My name is Andy, and this is my blog. I’m a physics major at Lehigh University, and am quite excited to be out doing research at Los Alamos National Lab this summer.

Science has always been my passion. In second grade, I wanted to be a microbiologist. In middle school, I read an article in USA Today about quantum computers, and I’ve been a physics addict since.

My fascination with science, and physics in particular, arises from a need to understand things at the most fundamental level. Physics is a beautiful, elegant union between the physical world and the world of concepts. Nowhere else do mathematics, philosophy, and the physical reality of our universe come together in a more compelling and captivating way.

When I’m not doing physics (which happens sometimes, I swear), you can find me swing dancing, road biking, skiing, playing guitar, hiking/camping, computer… ing… or reading, among other things.

I hope you enjoy my blog.
